Principles and Planning
TBDS has successfully built a modern web-based,
digital learning environment and has implemented the Application of
3T Pattern in Technology; that is, “To take computer as a tool, a
tutor, and a tutee.” Computer information and technology are
assimilated into teachings of all subjects and all teaching and
learning material can be uploaded to our Moodle Digital Learning
Platform for interactive and self learning, widely developing and
maturing the advancement of the theory of the Multiple
Intelligences.
Eight cables made of optical fibers are currently
the main tool for signal transmission. With more than 1,500
internet-ready sites, our campus is e-ready and our administrative
affairs are completely automated. All classrooms are equipped with
the most advanced multimedia web-based teaching facility (including
Interactive Whiteboards). Our student to machine ratio sets low at
3.5:1, making information easily accessible at our Computer Rooms,
Multi-media Rooms, Speech Audio Rooms, Robotic Experimentation Lab,
etc. Our K-12 Computer Information and Technology Curriculum sets
the learning target and learning passport aiming to train the
information knowledge capacity and ability of our primary students,
including MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist) and many other
internationally recognized certifications. |
